This plate removes the bulky oil filter housing that commonly gets in the way during swaps. The over pressure relief valve and spring are retained and must be removed from your OEM housing and reused. Instead of using the oem plastic cover for the relief valve, a counterbored brass plug is included to replace it. The thickness of the plate matches the VW housing so the stock bolts are reused also.
The plate kit includes a pair of M18 to 10AN male fittings for the oil filter lines and a M12 to 4AN fitting for the turbo oil feed. If you wish to use a banjo style turbo feed line, the port is tapped the same M12x1.5 thread as the oem filter housing. The port for the OEM VW pressure switch is tapped M10x1.0 and can easily be plugged with an ALH cylinder head oil galley plug if not being used. The AUX port is tapped 1/8 NPT for the easy addition of an aftermarket oil pressure or temperature gauge. A plug is included for the port if you do not need it.
