Tired of your troublesome CP4? Let's fix it! This CP3 adapter kit fits the 09-14 CBEA/CJAA/CKRA family of TDI's using a Bosch 0445010194 CP3 pump from a 09-12 BMW 335D or X5D. An ECU tune update is strongly recommended for optimal rail pressure control with no fault codes.
All parts are CNC machined in house. The adapter plate is 7075 aluminum for increased strength over 6061 aluminum and the hub is 1215 steel.
The kit includes the pump adapter plate, pulley hub, high pressure fuel line threaded adapter, banjo fuel fittings, and all necessary nuts and bolts for install. For the CKRA Passat, the cnc machined/welded coolant neck is needed as the factory neck hits the cp3.
The oem high pressure fuel line requires minor re-bending to work with this kit. A good quality 1/4" or 6mm tube bender is suggested such as this one.
It is available as a kit only if you would like to source your own pump, or with a new Bosch pump that comes with a 12 month warranty from Bosch.
We are currently writing new instructions for this kit. In the meantime, when you install the included high pressure fuel outlet fitting, TRANSFER OVER THE SPRING FROM THE OEM FITTING TO THE NEW FITTING or else warranty is void and your pump will be junk in a mile. Install the new fitting and torque/loosen/torque/loosen/torque to 65lbft.
